Is there a better way to memorize my dive tables for SCUBA?
I’m enrolled in a NAUI Basic Openwater certification course. As part of my certification, I need to memorize the NAUI dive tables, and pass an exam on them with a 100% score a few weeks from now. I have a feeling that my exam will be filling in a blank copy of the tables.

While we haven’t gone over them in class, I’ve looked them over and they look daunting. For anyone whose done this in the past, is there a specific way of learning them or writing them out (like by memorizing a few fields you can calculate/interpolate the rest)? Or do I simply need to memorize each indivdual field?

What is the normal price of receiving a scuba license and doing the class and stuff?
I’m doing it for my senior project and i want to see how much money i need to raise before January. Anything will help!! Also, if anyone lives in the Auburn/Grass Valley California area and knows of a great place to learn how to scuba, that would be great help also.

Pressure increases 1 atmosphere (atm) for each 10 m in depth.

Diver is at 2.5 atm external pressure. Can change to Pa or psi if needed.

Not sure partial pressures, but concentration inhaled would be.
50% O2

200% N2

This is slightly above Nitrogen Narcosis depth? Sadly learned Standard at 100ft ~30m.

Need help understanding scuba gear?
What is the difference of HP LP ports in terms of use on a scuba regulator? And why would you need 2 HP Ports on a scuba regulator?

Also is this a good regulator to get for the Southern California http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/SCPM2R1.html I ask because I don’t know what I should be looking for in a regulator1st stage.
